Dirty Dozen - Foyer, Saturday
The Dirty Dozen Donation Derby was created as a way to encourage the creation of Largess through friendly competition. The way it works is that entrants create 12 items based on a theme... the theme is up to the entrant. The primary rule is your items must be tagged and ready to be given out as largess immediately.
There have been so many amazing ideas for the entries! Children's crayon rolls, 14th Century silver brooches, children's toys, jewelry, jams, silk painted fans, sets of beads, embroidered needle books, felted bowls... the list just goes on and on. Remember, as this is not an Arts and Sciences competition you do not need to document your items however if you have done a re-creation please include that information on the tag!
People come by, vote on their favorite item by dropping a token in that entry's cup. The winner is the entrant with the most tokens.
...and the prize??!! The winner of the derby gets one item from each of the other competitors!!!
For those interested in finding out more information please join the Dirty Dozen Donation Derby Facebook page.

Twelfth Night Bardic Challenge
Note that this is a challenge, not a competition -- so no judging, no comparing yourself to anyone else, and everyone is a winner! This challenge offers the opportunity to try something new without any fear of "getting it wrong," receive helpful feedback (if desired!) from some of the most talented bards of the kingdom, and (of course) win fabulous prizes!
Here's how it works: there are seven categories. You prepare a piece for as many categories as you like, and at Twelfth Night you seek out the designated challenge recipient (watch this space for more details!) and present your piece. The challenge recipient will give you a token. If you wish it, they will give you (brief) feedback. BONUS: enter all seven challenges for a SPECIAL BONUS PRIZE.
Arts and Sciences Displays
There will be space for artistic display! Please consider bringing your most recent project for all to admire. Those interested in displaying an item should contact the Kingdom Arts & Sciences

For those interested in Scribal specific displays, please come display your finest scribal talents consisting of original scrolls and projects, Kingdom, Baronial, or just plain SCAdian. Please make sure your art is framed or otherwise suitable for display. NOTE: This is NOT a contest. Please contact Lord Renart le Fox of Berwick, Sable Sable Herald (scribe@antir.sca.org) for table space.
Room for displays will be available on Friday at 2pm for set-up. Please collect belongings before 3pm on Sunday.
